Khagaria Police has arrested a Chowkidar on charges of fraud. It is alleged that he cheated a young man of Rs 95,000 in the name of getting him a B.Ed degree. In this case, a civil suit was filed in the court of Khagaria Chief Judicial Magistrate by Rakesh Kumar, son of late Ram Mahato, a resident of Labh Village Ward No. 5, Gangaur police station area. On the basis of that, the Chowkidar and his brother along with three others have been made accused in the city police station. It is alleged that Chowkidar Ranjit Kumar opened a fake nursing institute in the name of his father and cheated many youths in the name of getting them degrees.

According to the information, the arrested chowkidar Ranjit Kumar and his brother Anil Prasad, son of late Parmanand Prasad, a resident of Bhutauli in Chautham police station area, opened Parmanand Nursing Institute in the name of their father. The victim Rakesh Kumar alleged in the FIR that the chowkidar Ranjit Kumar and his brother Anil Prasad had opened a fake nursing institute in the name of their father in their village. Under this, two lakh five thousand rupees were demanded from him for getting him a B.Ed degree. For this, he paid 95 thousand rupees to the chowkidar as the first installment. Despite this, he neither got the degree nor the money was returned.

The arrested chowkidar Ranjit is accused of duping dozens of youths of lakhs of rupees through his fake institute. It is being told that the chowkidar had closed his fake educational institute during the time of Corona, after which he was absconding. However, when Rakesh Kumar, who was a victim of fraud in this case, gave a written application to the Chautham police station, no action was taken by the police at that time. Later the victim knocked the door of Khagaria court. From where, after the order of FIR, the city police station has registered an FIR in this case and arrested the accused chowkidar. At the same time, the police has formed a team to arrest the other accused.
